990715 The Mobile Mob Freakshow 7" will unfortunately not be released, due to the band's memberproblems. The drummer, "The Insect" has quit the band and their bassplayer is moving to Stockholm. The Mob needs to concentrate for the recording of their new album to be released this autumn on Noxious Records. Primitive Art wishes all the best for the Mob in the future and hoping that they might be able to record a single for us sometime in the future. The Coffinshakers was a great success at the Hultsfred festival. Around 1000 persons came to see the Coffinshakers perform. The audience was in ecstacy and lots of people were singing along with the lyrics, and that's not bad for a band which has'nt even released a fullength album yet. Don't miss the Coffinshakers live at Stockholm Brinner Festival July 17th, Tantogården. The Coffinshakers will also appear at Dist '99 Festival in Forshaga Sweden 6-7 August. Swedens thrash heroes Merciless will also do their first re-union gig.
990604 Primitive Art Records has now signed them for one album. They have already recorded 7 trax at "Studio Rövhål" which are produced by the legendary Shitman "Onkel". The new material sounds like a mix of Bathory, Angelwitch, Venom and early Death SS, primitive, brutal and catchy as hell! This album will be released as a limited LP, sorry hi-tech fans but no CD version is planned for the moment. No release date decided yet.
